Adding to the reasoned discourse our neighbours to the south are having vis-a-vis masks, I propose this design:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Simple message, allegedly true.\u00a0 Should head off any discussion about why I wear a mask.\u00a0 Although I have not, as of 2020-06-22, had anyone comment on my mask wearing, nor do I really expect to.\u00a0 But Joan reports “2 or 3” comments per day during the 1st week back at Value Village (~2020-06-15), as a cashier (not her regular back-room job as a pricer, where she’d meet few public, just cow-workers)<\/p>\n

I had originally had “My” instead of “This” as the first word.\u00a0 I changed to remove any suggestion it’s about the wearer.<\/p>\n

Seriously, how can anyone question the wearer?\u00a0 My response would be something like “I wear this mask, as uncomfortable as it is, to protect you.\u00a0 It’s in black & white in the middle of my face.”, although I’d be hard-pressed to be that kind.<\/p>\n

In hindsight, I might be retro-referring (retro-riffiing on?) Woody Guthrie’s “This machine kills facists<\/a>” sticker\/graffiti on his guitar.<\/p>\n

For those that prefer more colour & tribal membership(s), add flags, sports team logos, the always important SUPREME logo, band logos, etc, etc.<\/p>\n

Also, I submit the above graphic as further evidence of my MS Paint skills.\u00a0 And the font was a deliberate choice, selected to flush out the real nerds.<\/p>\n
