in my case, HASS, Lutron Cassetta, Phillips Hue, Zigbee hub plus lots of Sonoff sensors (which suck. and need app “EweLink”, and currently are not working), TP-Link Kasa, 9x Amazon Echoes Dots mostly, Sylvania bulbs, Tuya, and probs; unless one limits to one ecosystem; but what would one choose?<\/div>

would be handy to be able to drop in these names and then make a table from them; c\/p the list from the title, break into lines ()cursor to end eol, <enter>, repeat 6 more times, clean up, the multi-seelct all 7 blocks; doesn’t offer a transform to table block; doesn’t seem to be a way to make a table; took ~5 mines to make the following 7-line 2-col table. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ESP32, one of the ESP32 mcus, plus sensors as reuired
ESPHome, configutre and install softeare to ESP32 devices
Zigbee2MQTT, converts Zigbee protocol to MQTT and vice vera
RFID tags, lets you mark things, which caqn then be used for things. hard to explain, but she is very enthusiastic about this, ands it’as something i;’ve not hear before
WLED, control leds, even using light to swignal things, sorta like the person detection at top of stairs make tha sublt esoiund and special flashes; as warkings
3D-Printer, for making all the littel bracktes for all these little devices. i already havie one!<\/s> <\/div>\n\n\n\n

HASS (Home Assistant) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

as of 2024-08-30, can’t seem to get a working HASS + ESPHome setup, seems that ESPHome being installedcauses HASS to restart. might do a fresh install of HASS then nothing more than ESPHome to see if this can be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
