The Truth On EV Tariffs\u2026.with Miss Go Electric<br><\/a>~28:00, mentions how his nissan leaf, 90k kms, no maintaince at dealership, so how does dealership survive without re-curring maintenance income.,<br>tesla, lucid? , rivian are doing direct online sales only??, but can they scale to where they have to have dealershiups (some states in usa prevent direct sales, must have dealships;<br>reminder that I saw a Rivian truck (not pickup?) , likely R1S (SUV), not R1T (pickup truck), but it had not-smooth side panels, big molded-in X shapes on each major panel (doors, rear quarter panel?), but can&#8217;t find any pics like this. no pic from me (driving) or j (sleeping). maybe it was a wrap or a paint job?<br>neat with the dynamic glass roof!!<br>https:\/\/rivian.com\/<br>reminder to tell rivian, telsa, etc to add a fucking 1\/4-20 threaded hardpoint in every vehicle<br>reminder to price adding electronic dimmavble to front bay window; needs cuttable sheets,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>another example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=T6DsEThrJ6Y\" target=\"_blank\">Energy as a Service: The Key to Clean Tech for Everyone? |The Full Charged Show Podcast<br><\/a>energy as a service; 20 year contracts are problematic, but expected to shorten, also younger gens are a bit used to service model where the thing is just sort of rented; alo on mortgages, allowing transfer of the technology to new owners, transferable, also bulding the tech cost into the mortgate; easy to see that their electreical bill will go up (maybe no solar?), but need to highlight no more gas bill, which could be substantial<br>somehting weird in uk and maybe eu, the cost of gas is coupled to the cost of eledctirictyy (or oter way &#8217;round??); how is this done? subsidyes to either as required? tax credits to consuiers? apparently thi smakes electricy always too expensive, vs ng, since already using ng<br>service provider takes care of all maintenance<br>ideal install is heat pump, solar panels, with maybe battery? and remember that every car added makes the network effct go!<br>e4asier to pay for a service that to get a $100K loan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>and another on the use of fleets (eg school buses) for flexible energy storage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=erFDmZlm-ys\" target=\"_blank\">Big, Yellow, Virtual Power Plants!
