Beware Hollywood&#8217;s &#8216;stealth musical&#8217;<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thestar.com\/entertainment\/movies\/timoth-e-chalamets-wonka-is-sweet-enough-to-make-your-teeth-ache\/article_2532f70e-9a9f-11ee-8e0b-ff6e6593705c.html\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cWonka,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0which opened recently, \u201c<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wPwzBUui1GA\" target=\"_blank\">The\u00a0Color\u00a0Purple<\/a>\u201d (arriving now) and the \u201c<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fFtdbEgnUOk\" target=\"_blank\">Mean Girls<\/a>\u201d revamp (hitting screens in January) are all high-profile big-budget movies with two other things in common: 1) they\u2019re all musicals, and 2) their original trailers are carefully edited to avoid acknowledging that fact.
