But then of course, all things on the display are “windows”..,

or could be by organizing the various windows as one likes, then (keystroke> and select from an ALT-TAB type layout; click the ones wanted and they attach; first one selected, or maybe the currently focused window is the “main” and the ones select 2nd, 3rd, etc are in that order from top to bottom of desired side.

of course, any mention here of left/right/top/bottom, specifz sixing sizing, are all configurabloe; gether in the orientation eht eare in

on my 4K

ors theser things should be openingablr as a shortcut? or somehow stored and re-openable as a group; so if I open the Fusion360 stitch group, F360 + the 3 or 4 other tools open up as in the pace AI want them,.

I like the idea that they are phsically attached at the edsgers, but there’s no reason (as katherine pointed out) they can’y be spead out; the idea is they are logically connected to each other form a control pov, but can be anywhere a window can go.

such windows can be grouped together regardless of what type of window they are,. i’m not looking for a chomre tab organizer, or a FileExplorer organizer (Stardock Fences might be doing that for me now?). both of those exiswt butydo not address the issues I have. so i expect to have a chrome tab as a main focus window, where zI am reading an article; attached to the right upper corens is a small windows with my soc file in Wordpad, below that is a calculator set to the specific mode i require for the things I usually do (usually just the stardnad simp-e calc, but maybe I’d like anpother calc set to conversins; even smarter, the converter sets itself to the uinits most approp to the web page it is sticthed to (like, I’l reading a EU article, so the curreny conversion cponverter shows with EU as the input and CDN$, US$, and UK💷 (look at the emnoji usage!) justt to the right; even smarter: as ai hover over a EU value, the coverter shows the variopus conversions, with an easy to reference history like a pper readout; even bette: my eye tracker see what EU value I am looking at; even better: my BCI sees me looking at an EU vcale and does the lookup and returns the preferred values via BCI, like it just came from emomey.

antoehr example: a Fusion360 window with the McMaster-Carr lookup pinned to the right side, a calulator, and a notepad; can give 80% of the widtd to the Fusion360, then the 20% strip to the right has 3 or would bew ahndy to have thes stiched on windoww able to sorta maximxe as reuqired; for instance, if the ERP part invenoy lookup is stitched, a 2click on it will bring uip[ fiullhight, 40% or width, overlaying or pushing f360 disaly to accomdate. like folk alkread due this stuff, the key is by stitching them togethe this is so much easier.

i think this function, at least minimally, might be doable in a Chrome extension (at least for chrome insntaces… but can a chrome expention open a windows file explorer or calculator instance and stick it to the right side???
