I add the tag “META:” to any quick thing I want to remember referring to how blog posts work. So posts about posts. Since I don’t have any desire or need to make these posts pretty (these are just my ramblings for my own use, generally. like a 2nd brain. which I now have to create a post about. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is also a good example of how inline\/inband tagging can be a simple but effective way to link things. While I do use the tagging function of the blog, I also find it convenient to write “tags” while I’m writing. So there are tags like “META:” and “TO-DO:” sprinkled about in my posts. This is the fastest way to tag\/link together ideas. But it does sufer from undiscipleined tagging… for instance, there are likely “TO-DO:”, “TODO:”, “TO DO:” and lower-case versions of these. The built-in tagging handles this better, but then suffers from breaking concentratyion or flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ideally, I should convert inline\/inband “tags” like these to proper tags after first “raw” post, and remove them from the post. But since this is just for me (generally), why bother??<\/p>\n\n\n\n
