on inflation on shrinkflation:
searching walmart.ca, amazon.ca, and csampbell’s themselves did not show and 515ml cans. but maybe it’s coming
ffs, no can size listed on campbell.com
oh ho! campbellsoup.ca has the truth:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so walmart.ca is showing 540ml, but soup.ca is showing 515ml.
my guiess: it’s coming once stock is refreshed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

regardless, this is lfe. plann your life arouind this. price3s will rise, corporations will profit until we revolt and eat the rish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as joan said tonight, even if we got to zero resource scartity (so that everyoen in the world can live at the same std.of.liv), we (the 1st world) simply don’t want to reduce our std.of.liv to a level that the whole wordl will have the same. if the world can support a “2nd world” leve3l of living std.of.liv, then the 3rd world has to come and the first world (we the rich, 1%ers) will have to take it down a level, so we become lik,e ????mexico? india? who is 2nd worlkd anyway?<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

so a 4.6% decrrease in volume, or 4.6% increase in price. consomuers are much more sensitive to price increeases than volume increases, esp this small where it’s unlikely to be noticed easily. it’s not dioshonest, but it is underhanded?
companies gootta raise prices eventually. inflation is circluar?
