Evidence in a bizarre case of a Canadian soldier accused of drugging comrades with marijuana-laced cupcakes was lost by military\u00a0police \u2014 a turn of events that has the soldier’s lawyer accusing the Department of National Defence of conducting a sloppy, incompetent\u00a0investigation.<\/p>\n

First: don’t dose people without their consent!<\/p>\n

Seems to me that if the chain of evidence and rules and such were followed for the one wrapper, then proceed with charges, but perhaps only 1x each charge.<\/p>\n

She’s a “Bombardier”, so likely a member of the Gagetown-stationed artillery unit.\u00a0 If she was “serving at the canteen”, she’s just one of the people that ran the pop, chips, candy, etc. (never beer; sometime cigs depending on the Company Commander’s or Warrant Officer preference) setup must units have.\u00a0 Alway run as a non-profit, so cheap (like 25 cents for a can of pop).\u00a0 Usually volunteer, sometimes “volunteered”.\u00a0 Every company in the RCR had their own, with different items avail.\u00a0 Every tank platoon had one.<\/p>\n
